Alternatively, you may hand deliver the document to the nursery – asking for either Fiona or Millie.

Please note – Spaces discussed when visiting are what is currently available- If someone else sends a registration form and registration fee (if the place is for a child who will not be in receipt of funding) , the space will be allocated to them first and you may then be placed on a waiting list for the next available space.

To secure a place for a child a £100.00 registration fee will need to be paid – This is fully refunded when the child commences the place at The Old School House Nursery (OSHN Ltd). Please note that a place will not be held and allocated unless this registration fee is paid (if required) and a registration form is received.

For Children joining The Old School House Nursery (OSHN Ltd) aged 2,3 and 4 who will be eligible for FF2/FEE funding when the place commences, no registration fee is required to hold a space- Please speak to Fiona or Millie if you are unsure if a deposit is required.

Full Time Places (attending all year round) may commence throughout the year depending on availability.

Part Time Places (attending term time only) will commence at the beginning of the school terms (Please see website for Term Dates normally beginning September and January/ mid to end April subject to availability).

It is our policy that children must attend at least two sessions each week and that these two sessions will be on different days. This ensures that they settle and make friends with both the children and staff more readily and also ensures that they maximise opportunity to share topical work which supports our core Montessori activities.

Additionally, requests for extra sessions/time at nursery should be given in writing and will be offered subject to availability.

PLEASE NOTE:  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU COLLECT YOUR CHILD BY YOUR ALLOCATED SESSION END.

We are of course delighted to share an account about your child’s day, but to enable us to do this without interfering with ratio’s staff finish times and other organisation, please arrange to be here ready to leave the building at either 1p.m., 3.30p.m. or 6 p.m.

Please take the time to read our policies, particularly those relating to collection and child protection.

Siblings discount: If you’re lucky enough to have two or more children wishing to attend the nursery then we operate a discount system when siblings attend nursery.

The first child pays full fees, subsequent children receive 5% discount on fees.

Non Attendance

If your child is absent due to illness/ away on holiday fees will remain payable.

Lost Property

Parents must clearly label all their children’s clothing and belongings to help avoid items going missing or being misplaced.

Unless it has acted negligently, the nursery does not accept any responsibility for loss of property in the nursery. Lost property will be displayed at the end of each term. Any items not claimed will be disposed of in August and in December.
